This book is actually part of a neat little kit; along with the spiral-bound lay-flat book, you get a sample DVD and CD plus a pair of zils and a belly jewel (that part was not my idea!) The book features my version of the history of belly dance and what makes Tribal different, illustrated instructions for all of the basic steps plus a couple advanced steps and zil technique, information on how to tailor the dance to suit your fitness needs and a simple choreography to tie it all together. The DVD is a sampling of Vol. 1 Fundamentals, Vol. 3 Zils and Vol. 4 Advanced Workshop. The CD features cuts from Tribal Dances Tribal Drums and Itneen. All this for the mass-produced-in-China-price of $14.95! I truly had a great time putting this project together and hope to do more of the same in the future.
