How to Order
Standard orders go out within 10 days receipt, sooner if we can manage it. However, delays do occur (we are filling orders in-between classes, rehearsals and shows!), if we are expecting your full order to be in stock within a reasonable amount of time, we will hold your order to be shipped all together. If this is not feasible, you will either be sent a partial shipment with notification of backorder or a postcard estimating the wait period. You will not be charged extra for backorders, but we cannot add to an order once part of it has been shipped.
Methods of Payment
On-line orders may be paid for with Paypal or credit card. Upon completion of your order form you will be directed to Paypal. There you can choose to pay via your Paypal account or use a credit card without creating Paypal account.
Rush Orders
For an additional fee we are happy to ship your order Next Day Air or Second Day Air if we have the item in stock, please call for an estimate.
**NEW** International Shipments
We have a new cost-effective alternative to ship your purchases to your home or office. MyUS.com enables consumers around the globe to buy goods from U.S. retailers. They ship the goods to your home or business using their global shipping partners. Every package can be tracked online through their secure website. Here's how it works.
- You sign up for a membership at MyUS.com.
- You will receive a real street address in Florida.
- Use your MyUS street address as your shipping address for purchases you make.
- When you order from the FatChanceBellyDance on-line catalog you pay USA domestic shipping charges to your MyUS address.
- MyUS ships your package to your international destination. MyUS bills you at a lower International rate than FCBD/UPS can provide.
You can still choose to ship to your International address directly from FCBD via UPS. This does cost more than previous methods, but it is guaranteed to arrive, can be insured and tracked if there is a problem. If you have an address that we can ship to in the States, you may find it the easier alternative as we have to declare the value of the shipment and this can incur duty fees at Customs. We cannot insure your package and leave the value undeclared.
Amazon Domestic and International Shipments
Many of our DVDs and CDs are available via www.amazon.com and can be shipped through their website for less than we have to charge.
Digital Downloads
Many of our DVDs and CDs are available via digital download at cdbaby.com, itunes and amazon.com. You won't pay any shipping at all and you'll get the item in moments!
Additional Catalog Copies
We don't have a paper catalog at this time. There are so many new things added all the time, we've decided the web version is the best way to keep you advised of porducts and promotions. You can always call us with any questions 1-5pm PST at 415.431.4322, or leave a message 24 hours a day and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
PAL format for dvds
PAL is an old video system used in countries other than the US. In the US we have NTSC as our format. Our dvds are all region NTSC and should play in all dvd players bought within the last few years, regardless of country.
What's a Drop Shipment?
When it is more efficient for an item to be shipped direct from the studio where it is created, it's called a Drop Shipment. Some FlyingSkirts costuming and Suzanne Elliotts' cosmetics are drop shipped as the items are made to order. You will see a note on your invoice informing you that the drop shipment will go out 10 days from receipt of your order.
When can I expect my Back Order?
When an item is out of stock, we will put it on Back Order and send out the items that we have in stock. You do not pay anything extra for back ordered items, the shipping is all-inclusive at the time you order. You will see a note on your invoice informing you that the back order will go out 10 days from receipt of your order.
