I really love this collection. Although not every track is useful for Tribal Style Belly Dance, the cuts that work, really work. Peter Gabriel used these original recordings as inspiration for the soundtrack to The Last Temptation of Christ. Among the fourteen selections are a drum solo by Hossam Ramzy, nai flute by Kudsi Erguner, a haunting call to prayer by Baaba Maal, and a Moroccan call and response.
