Musicians of the Nile
The producer of this recording, Alain Weber, is a Parisian who went to Egypt, fell in love with the culture and music...and never went back to France. Metqal Qenawi taught him the rebaba, and the result is this fantastic recording. Completely authentic, with no synthesizer or modern effects. Contains Carolena's favorite drum solo.
Rebaba, arghool, doumbec, tabla baladi, mizmar, vocals.
