Gypsy Music Into Africa This one hour documentary is the closest thing to custom made history of our dance that we've ever seen. Though not exclusively about bellydance, it takes a detailed look at the historical travels of the gypsies, their music and culture from India, through Egypt and up into Spain. Featuring an interview with Yusef Maazin, footage of the Banat Maazin and Metqal Qenawi as well as fortune tellers, acrobats, Flamenco dancers and tattooists! 60 minutes (narration).
