Dance Conditioning with Anita Lalwani-24 Jan - 21 Mar, 10-11:30am
Make the commitment to improve your posture, presentation, strength, and elegance-- to improve your dancing. In dance conditioning class, you will build your dance skill in a friendly non competitive environment. All levels of dancers are welcome. Each workout is specially designed to improve your tribal bellydance skills. After a dance warmup, we turn the studio into a gym, turn up the music, and turn up the heat! Get your sweat on as you move from exercise to exercise, working with resistance bands, dumbbells, physioballs, and other props. Sit-ups, lunges, and extreme stretches will build your strength, balance and flexibility. Dance drills bring it all home, integrating your newfound abilities into your dance technique. All levels of dancers are welcome! This is a progressive course that runs from January 24th to March 21st. Class fee $150 ($125 if you register before January 17th) Classes will be held at the FCBD studio on Sunday mornings from 10-11:30am. Audience Wanted to Observe the Creative Process (Level 4)3:45-5pm at the FCBD Studio 24 Apr
You are invited to witness the creative process as the audience in this interactive class. Level 3 Intermediate and Level 4 Advanced students will perform for you in a casual setting. Dancers will be challenged with a set of music and real life performance situations. Instructor will guide both participating students and audience members in observing the creative process. Open to the public. Please invite your friends! This event is FREE for National Dance Week.
