She is experienced in teaching beginning through advanced ATS classes, ATS workshops and ATS prop work. Rita has also co-directed a student performance troupe and danced in the professional performance troupe, Sofia Tribal. She completed Teacher Training 1 & 2 in San Francisco in November 2010, and repeated TT2 in Eau Claire in 2012. She has also mentored with Jen Nolan from Tamarind Tribal. To date Rita has taken about 40 hours of training with Jen through private lessons, workshops and performance troupe mentoring. Rita also has taken about 20 hours of classes, workshops and private lessons with FCBD instructors Anita, Sandi, Wendy, Kristine and Suzanne since 2010. She has also completed about 30 hours of workshops with Carolena at various venues in WI, MI and CO. All told, Rita has completed close to 180 hours of ATS training since September 2009. |
